Neighborhood Watch Alerts & Meetings Announced!

Lansing's Green Oaks neighborhood (bordered by Michigan and Pennsylvania avenues, Kalamazoo and the railroad tracks just beyond Hill Street) was officially recognized as a Neighborhood Watch in October, 2006.


ALERT: There has been a rash of B&E's happening on the east side of the North Precinct.

The B&E's are between 10:00 am and 10:00 pm. The accused is walking up to the front door and kicking it in.

The description of the accused is:

White Male, 30's, 5'10, 170 pounds (thin build), blue jeans, dark coat and wearing a backpack.

Please be careful and if you notice anyone suspicious in the area PLEASE call the non-emergency number (517)483-4600 unless there is a crime in progress call 911.


Our meetings are set for the 4th Thursday of every month (except during the holiday season) between 6 and 7pm at Christ Lutheran Church (122 S Pennsylvania Avenue, just south of Michigan). The next few meetings are listed below for your scheduling convenience:
